Fair Housing

Last updated: May 13, 2026

BuilderBuyerPlus, LLC is committed to the principles of fair housing and equal opportunity. We provide buyer representation services without regard to race, color, religion, sex, disability, familial status, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, age, source of income, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local law.

Federal Fair Housing Act

The federal Fair Housing Act (Title VIII of the Civil Rights Act of 1968, as amended) prohibits discrimination in housing transactions on the basis of:

  • Race
  • Color
  • Religion
  • National origin
  • Sex (including gender identity and sexual orientation)
  • Familial status (including children under 18 living with parents or legal guardians, and pregnant women)
  • Disability

The Act applies to nearly all housing in the United States, including the sale, rental, financing, and advertising of new construction homes.

Florida Fair Housing Act

The Florida Fair Housing Act (Chapter 760, Part II, Florida Statutes) provides parallel protections under state law and adds additional state-level enforcement remedies.

What this means for buyers working with BuilderBuyerPlus

When you work with BuilderBuyerPlus, you receive the same level of service, advocacy, and representation regardless of any protected characteristic. This includes:

  • The same access to information about builders, communities, incentives, and opportunities
  • The same advocacy in negotiations
  • The same representation through contract, inspection, and closing
  • The same standard of professional service

We do not steer buyers toward or away from any community or neighborhood based on protected characteristics. We do not discuss the racial, religious, or ethnic composition of any community in the context of recommending or discouraging it.
