BuilderBuyerPlus, LLC (“BuilderBuyerPlus,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website at www.builderbuyerplus.com (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide directly. When you submit a form on our Site (such as the Get Started form, contact form, or any future account registration), we collect the information you provide. This may include your name, email address, phone number, location, timeline, financial readiness, and details about your homebuying plans. If you create a user account, we may also collect a username, password, and account preferences.

Information collected automatically. When you visit our Site, we automatically collect certain technical information, including your IP address, device type, browser type and version, operating system, pages viewed, time spent on pages, referring URL, and the date and time of your visit. We collect this information through cookies, web beacons, pixels, embedded scripts, Local Shared Objects, and similar tracking technologies.

Location data. We may collect general location information based on your IP address. We do not collect precise GPS location unless you affirmatively share it through your device.

2. Cookies and tracking technologies

Our Site uses several types of tracking technologies:

3. Specific third-party tools we use

Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our Site. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Google Ads and remarketing. We may use Google Ads, including remarketing and similar audience features, to show advertisements to prior Site visitors on other sites across the Google Display Network. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve these ads based on past visits. Meta (Facebook) Pixel. We may use the Meta Pixel to measure ad performance and reach relevant audiences on Facebook and Instagram. You can manage your ad preferences in your Facebook account settings.

Social media features. Our Site may include social media features such as Facebook Like buttons, share buttons, or embedded posts from Instagram, X, YouTube, or LinkedIn. These features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting, and may set cookies to function. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policy of the company that provides them, not by this Policy.

• Provide the services you request, including Buyer+ Certification, buyer representation, and any user account features
• Communicate with you about our services, including by email, phone, and (with your consent) text message
• Send marketing communications you have opted into
• Improve our Site, services, and customer experience

• Personalize the content and offers you see
• Comply with legal obligations under Florida Statute §475 and other applicable law
• Protect against fraud, unauthorized activity, and security risks

5. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your mobile phone number, text message opt-in, or text message consent with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers. We may share information with third-party vendors who help us operate our business — including email providers, hosting providers, CRM platforms, analytics services, marketing platforms, and SMS messaging providers. These providers are authorized to use your information only as necessary to provide services to us.
• Lenders and transaction partners. With your consent, we may share your information with mortgage lenders, title companies, inspectors, attorneys, or other professionals involved in your homebuying process.
• Co-sponsored events and promotions. From time to time, we may co-sponsor events, promotions, or content with other companies (for example, a lender partner or a builder partner). If you participate in a co-sponsored event or promotion, the information you provide may be shared with the co-sponsor. We will identify the co-sponsor at the time you provide the information, and the co-sponsor’s use of your information will be governed by their own privacy policy. You can decline to participate if you do not want to share your information with the co-sponsor.
• Legal requirements. We may disclose information when required by law, court order, subpoena, or government request, or to protect our legal rights, the safety of any person, or the integrity of our Site.
• Business transfers. If BuilderBuyerPlus is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will require the receiving party to honor this Privacy Policy or notify you of any material changes.
• Aggregate or de-identified data. We may share aggregate or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be linked to an identifiable individual with advertisers, business partners, or the public for research, marketing, or analytics purposes.

6. Testimonials and customer content

If you provide a testimonial or review, we may post it on our Site or social media along with your first name and last initial. We will obtain your consent before posting any testimonial that includes personally identifying information. If you want a testimonial removed, contact us at contact@builderbuyerplus.com.

7. Text messaging (SMS)

If you opt in to receive text messages from us, we may send you transactional and promotional messages, including service updates, appointment reminders, and information about our services. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply through your mobile carrier.

Your consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. We do not share your mobile information (including your phone number, your opt-in status, or your consent to receive messages) with third parties for their marketing purposes. We do share mobile information with service providers who help us deliver messages on our behalf (for example, an SMS messaging platform).

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

8. Data retention

We retain your information for as long as needed to provide the services you have requested, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Records related to real estate transactions are retained for the period required by Florida law (currently five years from the date of the transaction under FREC rules) and may be retained longer where required by tax, audit, or litigation hold obligations.

9. Your choices

• Opt out of marketing emails. Click the “unsubscribe” link in any marketing email we send, or contact us at the address below.
• Opt out of text messages. Reply STOP to any text message.
• Access, correct, or delete your information. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you by contacting us at contact@builderbuyerplus.com.
• Account management. If you have a user account, you may update certain information directly through your account settings.
• Cookies. Manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.
• Do Not Track signals. Our Site does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals because no industry standard exists for how to respond to them.

10. Florida residents

Under the Florida Digital Bill of Rights (Fla. Stat. §501.71 et seq.), eligible Florida consumers have certain rights regarding their personal information, which may include:

Our Site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Users between 13 and 18 should use our Site only with parental supervision and consent.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
